The logistics of having someone stay in your home and care for your dog(s)/pets is not something to be overlooked!
Here is a preparatory list before you hand over your pooch to think about so that I know what to expect.
Dog(s)
- feeding instructions (frequency/food location)
- allergies/any medical concerns or history
- preferred walk routes and times
- where he/she sleeps
- whether on or off leash walks/runs
- what level of daily exercise should we plan for
House
- access
- alarms
- wifi password
- garbage/recycling
- heat/fireplace instructions
- parking access
- snow removal details
General
- Emergency contact info for house and dog(s)
- Your date / time of departure and return

However, I’ve never personally used Facebook advertising before this little venture, and I’m really quite interested in the results, and low cost for the exposure!
I love love love that the Resort Municipality of Whistler provides plastic bags for dog owners (or sitters!) to pick up after their dogs! How thoughtful.
